What a great night! Excellent demo by DJ of snow-topped Pen y Fan. From the glowing colours of the sky to the thick snow below, he shared his process and explained his method of alternating between brushes and pallet knives to create textures in his oil paintings.
DJ talked about his love of plein air painting to create a real feel for the subject and brought some of his paintings to illustrate this. He also told us about his large mural of one of his friends painting a wall, which is included in our report.
