This evening's theme was 'Lights of the City.' There was excellent turn out and the artwork was of a very high standard. Many thanks to Edward Jeavons, who critiqued and judged the 29 entries. He was then faced with the difficult task to short list half of the pictures to go through for the final selection at the next meeting.
Edward will be judging part 2 of this competition in 2 weeks time, when the theme is 'Still life in odd colours.' He will then choose a winner for each theme plus an overall winner.
The photo shows Edward with some of the competition entries.
Edward is a Senior Fine Art Lecturer at the University of South Wales, Caerleon.
