Many thanks to the artist Edward Jeavons, who this evening had the challenging task to judge artwork for the Derrick Turner competition.
SWAS members received an excellent critique of their artwork & were invited to contribute. Edward described what he liked about each picture, making comparisons with artists, art movements & technique. He analysed & evaluated work with each individual, which made the whole process very enjoyable & interesting. There was a large turn out with a very positive atmosphere.
