This evening 60 members attended and 28 paintings were submitted for the critique. We were indeed lucky to have Angela with us; with vast experience and knowledge, she discussed each painting in depth, commenting and making insightful suggestions.
Angela, who is an ex member of SWAS and a former finalist on the BBC's first 'Watercolour Challenge' stated that to be a good critic " you have to take it seriously' and to remember that it is 'totally subjective, only one person's point of view, so a critique is more of a help from a fellow artist's point of view'.
Congratulations to Anita Raymond, her painting was the Critic's Choice!
