Fantasy Landscape

Tonight we were treated to a delightful evening with Sharon Hurst.  

Sharon took us to her fantasy land and explained how she weaves and develops her background story to create interest and intrigue in her characters.

Although Sharon's beautiful landscape was entirely fantasy, the method of watercolour painting was completely relevant to all artists.

She took us through her step by step approach, showing her blending techniques and always remembering to put dark areas next to light for dramatic impact.

Sharon will finish the landscape back in her studio and will send us the final image, which will be placed here in due course.
