Derrick Turner Competition - Part Two

“Paraphernalia”                critic: Sue McDonagh

Many thanks once again to artist Sue McDonagh, for her informative critique and selection of winning pictures this evening. The competition was of a very high standard, but Sue eventually chose the finalists from the wide range of artwork.

The overall winner of the Derrick Turner Trophy is Arnold Lowrey.

Part 1 “The Welsh Landscape” by R S Thomas, was won by Arnold Lowrey and the runner-up was Phil Ross.

Part 2 “Paraphernalia” was won by Joe Rhodes and runner-up was Anthony Douglas-Jones.

Congratulations to Arnold Lowrey and all the winners and runners-up.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this competition.
