Pastel Demonstration

Graham Cox visited us on 29 October for a demonstration entitled 'Moody Pastels'. Graham told us that he was inspired by David Bellamy and indeed, gave us two Bellamy-esque paintings, one of a boat at anchor (left) and the other of a landscape (below).

Graham showed us how to use the 'tooth' of the paper and also, when and how it is possible to remove some or all of the pastel previously applied.

An enjoyable evening.
