Demonstration - Mountain Lake in Acrylic

Tuesday evening (5th November) we were entertained by Stuart Roper, a talented artist and illustrator. Using acrylics, Stuart painted a forest lake with trees, starting from a red painted canvas that had been used many times before and so already had an underlying texture.

Using  blobby paint strokes to build a colourful landscape with vibrant pigments, he then refined it with detail. Thank you, Stuart, for a very interesting evening.
