Derrick Turner Competition - Week 2

‘Harbour’

Phil Watkins

11 March 2025

A big thank you to Phillip Watkins, out president,  for judging and critiquing this year’s Derrick Turner competition, which was held over two meetings with the two titles of "Country Lane" and "Harbour".

Phil did a  great job of picking a winner and runner-up for both titles plus an overall winner, which was Joe Rhodes painting of a  harbour. Well done, Joe.

Congratulations also go to Tony Douglas-Jones for winning the ‘Country Lane’ category and to Keith Harvey for getting runner-up in both categories.

A gallery of some of the paintings entered for this competition will be added in due course.
