Our visitor on Tuesday, Matt Williams, gave us an excellent demonstration of oil painting, giving us a view from Pen Y Fan of nearby Cribin.

A former farmer and junior school teacher, Matt went through every step of the process, from using Liquin to modify the drying times to the subsequent glazing of the finished painting, all the time enthusing about the joys of oil painting.
